Never had a massage before?
Your massage should be a fun relaxing experience. If you're not sure about what it
will be like or just curious about what other people have been asking, included
below are some of the questions we are often asked and our responses.

what am i supposed to wear when i get a massage?
for an oil based massage you should undress
to your own level of comfort. many people
prefer to keep their underwear on during a
massage, while others prefer to be
completely nude. it's up to you
can i eat or drink before a massage?
please don't have a massage on a full
stomach, wait at least 1 hour. also it's
best to avoid drinking alcohol before your
massage
am i supposed to tip my therapist?
tipping is
totally up to you. the only pressure our
therapists want you to feel is their warm
hands
are your massages sensual?
this is one of the most common questions!
properly performed, by a happy and relaxed
therapist, a good massage
gives pleasure to both your body and your
senses. a massage is also intimate; after
all you are being touched warmly with
love and care by another human being. so
yes, massage can be a sensual experience.
please do not however confuse sensuality
with sex. they are relatives but not
twins ;)
what if i realize i've drooled during the massage?
many people
fall into a peaceful slumber during the
massage but when they wake up, they notice
a pool of drool on the pillow or massage
table. this is very common. don't be afraid
to ask the massage therapist for a
tissue
should i talk to the massage therapist during the massage?
it’s usually
best to close your eyes and relax. but once
again, it’s up to you. be sure to speak up
if the room is too hot or too cold; if you
experience any pain or if you would like
the massage changed in any way
what if i get an erection during the massage?
there is no
reason to be embarrassed. it's perfectly
normal for men to get an erection during a
massage. gentle touch administered to any
area of the body can activate the
parasympathetic nervous system and cause a
partial or full erection. your therapist
understands this and will generally ignore
it
the pressure isn't right for me, what should i do?
please don't
worry about upsetting your therapist - just
let them know. he or she will be happy to
hear how best to adjust the pressure to
suit your body
i don't want the therapist to touch a certain part of my body
if
you don't like a particular part of your
body touched or you're just self-conscious
about a certain body area, just ask your
therapist to avoid that area. remember we
also have therapies which are done through
clothing, such as our
bend
massage
i'd rather see a female (or male) therapist. can i request this?
yes, you
can
happy endings - what are they and can I get one?
we don't get high and mighty about things.
so as you can see we've already accepted
that massage can be a sensual thing and
also that men may get aroused. so now let's
deal the happy ending. what is it? It's
being masturbated by your therapist at the
end of your massage. can you get one? of
course you can. just not with us. we
believe true happiness knows no end :-)
what type of massage should i get?
if
this is your first time it’s best to book a
one-hour
classic massage. this way
you can find out with the therapist
specific areas of the body that will
respond better next time to a longer or
more specific massage
i am pregnant, can i still get a massage?
massage is
perfectly safe after the first three months
of pregnancy. to avoid pressure on your
abdomen, you will lie on your side and back
or sit on a special chair during
your
mummy massage. we can't
massage you during the first 3 months of
pregnancy unless you have written
approval from your doctor
how often should i receive a massage?
ideally once a
week. if you can't do this try at least to
have massage on a regular basis.
can I request a specific therapist?
all
our massage therapists are highly qualified
and have been hired on the basis that they
can all provide a high level of massage. we
can guarantee you the same quality of
massage no matter who your therapist.
however we will be very happy to fulfill
your request for a particular therapist
wherever possible
are there any side effects i need to be aware of?
the
body releases toxins through massage. you
might feel a little dizzy or suffer a
headache after a massage. these are natural
reactions which you should not need to
worry about. drink lots of water to
decrease these symptoms. feeling soreness
in your muscles the next day is also
perfectly natural
