What is office massage?
Office massage is on-site massage for a workplace, worked through clothing with no oil. Each person has ten, fifteen or twenty minutes on their head, neck, shoulders and upper back, seated at their own desk in their own chair. Setting up is simple, and one therapist treats about three people an hour at fifteen minutes each, taking a short break between people.

How it works on the day
Straightforward, and far less disruptive than most people picture before they have booked one.

Nothing has to be carried in or plugged in, which is most of the reason the desk format works so well in an office. Proper massage chairs suit an event or a conference stand better, and we can bring those instead when you would rather have them.
Even five minutes on shoulders, hands and arms helps head off the repetitive strain injury that comes of typing all day, which is why this is one of the more sensible things a London office can put its wellbeing budget into.

Below is how a day of it runs. A lunchtime or a full day follows the same shape, with more or less of the middle.

Simple to set up
No chair to assemble, no plug and no room to hire. Your therapist finds whoever is coordinating and starts at the first desk on the list.

Head, neck, shoulders and upper back, through clothing. People carry on with their day looser and, going by what managers tell us afterwards, noticeably better company.

There is nothing to pack away and no oil anywhere, so the floor goes back to normal the moment the last person stands up.
Booking for a team or an event
Office massage does not go through the normal online booking, because every one of them is different. Numbers, hours, how many therapists, whether it is a regular monthly thing or a one-off for an event.
Email us with roughly how many people and when, and we will come back with a plan and a price, usually the same day and always within 24 hours. We have done this for companies of every size since 2009, along with trade stands and conferences, where a massage chair reliably draws a longer queue than anything else on the floor.

Worth knowing
Massage chairs are £60 each per day if you want them, though most offices do not, since the desk format needs no equipment.
Where a booking splits over a day, the gap between sessions is charged at half rate, £42.50 an hour, and we keep the same therapists for both.

Enough room for the therapist to stand behind each person, and somebody we can check in with on the day. No equipment, no power and no room hire. If you would rather have proper massage chairs, we can bring those for a small hire charge.
